OnePlus 7T

OnePlus mobiles’ mid-year refresh to the OnePlus 7 was the OnePlus 7T smartphone. It was launched on September 28, 2019. As predicted, this device carries the “T” suffix and it is loaded with some key updates that its predecessor missed out on.

A few of the most distinguished features are a larger display screen, a much more sophisticated non-reflective glass design on the back which houses the triple camera module. Now, this helps us understand why the OnePlus 7T is priced higher than its predecessor. Best Business Laptop for HP

The non-reflective glass back design is one of the trends that we have been noticing in premium smartphones since 2019. We think it’s a nice shift from the otherwise fingerprint magnet– the glossy back. OnePlus mobiles refer to the subtle matte finish as the “frosted glass finish”. This makes the OnePlus 7T super easy to hold with a non-slippery feeling. Another great thing about this is that you don’t have to keep reaching for a cloth to wipe the phone often. The OnePlus 7T weighs 190 grams which makes it a dream to use. Its predecessor weighed 204 grams.

Coming to the camera setup, the OnePlus 7T now has a circular camera bump on the back. It has the three cameras horizontally positioned, along with the dual-LED Flash. packs in the flash and the three horizontally arranged cameras. The previous variant had a smaller module with vertically lined dual cameras. For security, and privacy requirements, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the screen. The OnePlus 7T has the USB Type-C charging port which serves as the primary connector for both data transfer and connecting headphones.

Display:

The OnePlus 7T comes with a 6.55-inch screen which is considerably bigger and brighter than the previous model which had a 6.41-inch screen. The screen that these OnePlus mobiles use is the Fluid AMOLED display. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The screen has a bezel-less display type with a multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen. Whilst the new screen has the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it offers a higher refresh rate of 90 Hz just like the flagship smartphones. A higher refresh rate offers a smoother gaming experience. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The pixel density on this phone is 402 PPI. Colours in games and movies look a lot more vibrant than the predecessor.

Technology on the inside:

Powering the OnePlus 7T is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ which is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 855 which is generally used in several high-end smartphones. This chipset is an overclocked version with Octa-core (2.96 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 485) processor. Paired with Adreno 640 graphics processor, the new chipset is now able to muster up a speed boost of up to 15% which results in a greater gaming experience.

The base variant of these OnePlus mobiles has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage which is superb for professionals, gamers and movie buffs. People can store all their music, data and files in one place without having to worry about running out of space. However, the storage space cannot be expanded. Overall, the performance of the OnePlus 7T is simply incredible, be it switching between apps, working on multiple documents at the same time, or even editing a photo or playing games at the best graphics settings.

The battery of this smartphone is perfect. The OnePlus 7T uses a 3800 mAh battery which is supported by 30W Warp charging which promises a charge of 0% to 70% in just 30 minutes. This allows modest to heavy phone users to get through an entire workday comfortably on a single charge.

Camera:

The OnePlus 7T has a 48 MP (f/1.6) Primary Camera, a 16 MP (f/2.2) Wide-Angle, Ultra-Wide camera, and a 12 MP (2.2) Telephoto camera with up to 2x optical zoom for a rich photography experience. These OnePlus mobiles also have a super macro mode that is capable of shooting images as close as 2.5 cm to the subject. Whilst the detailing and sharpness of the images using the incredible camera are on par with the predecessor, the colours tend to pop out that much more on this model. And for extreme low light settings, the OnePlus 7T has the nightscape mode. The wide-angle camera now allows users to click wider shots. What’s more? The portrait mode now allows users to adjust the depth of the images manually.

On the front, there is a 16 MP (f/2.0) Primary wide-angle camera that’s perfect to click selfies whether it’s just you or with your group comfortably without having to squeeze in tightly.

Software:

We have looked at the different features the phone comprises, now let’s look at the software it uses. The OnePlus 7T uses custom UI Oxygen OS, powered by Android v10. This made it the first smartphone to be launched with Google’s latest mobile OS at that time.

The OnePlus mobiles price in India was 34,999.00 at the time of the launch. If you want to learn more about this phone in detail, we recommend you to look up the PriceKeeda website.  Also, grab the latest info on upcoming mobiles, only at PriceKeeda.
